Queens triple stabbing leaves 41-year-old woman dead, 2-year-old fighting for life – NBC New York

A woman and a toddler were stabbed to death Sunday during a violent attack inside a Queens home, police officials confirmed.
Three people were stabbed at the Ridgewood home on Forest Avenue, including the alleged assailant, law enforcement sources familiar with the case said.
A 41-year-old woman and a 2-year-old girl were stabbed in the neck and chest, and each succumbed to their injuries, according to the NYPD.
The attack happened right around 7 p.m. Sunday. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, while the 54-year-old man and the 2-year-old were rushed to Elmhurst Hospital.
Sources said a relative called 911 after the man called them on FaceTime during the attack.
Police officials have not said whether any of the three people were related, or what circumstances led up to the stabbing.
