London-based duo Henri Bergmann and Wennink are making waves once again their debut on Crosstown Rebels, delivering an emotive crossover, “Guardian Angel.” Known for blending Bergmann’s melodic sensibilities with Wennink’s haunting vocals, the pair has already garnered attention from heavyweights like Afterlife, featuring on Dancing Astronaut‘s 2022 Label of the Year’s Realm Of Consciousness Pt. VI. The new cut showcases their ability to craft deep, emotional soundscapes, pairing richly textured percussion with Wennink’s vocals for a truly captivating experience.
Accompanying the original are remixes from Stimming, and London-based talent Hardt Antoine, both offering their unique takes on the track. Stimming’s version leans into a driving rhythm with ethereal effects, while Antoine’s remix ventures into darker, sci-fi-inspired territory. This release marks another milestone for the duo, who continue to carve out their space in the melodic house and techno scene. The duo asks the question, “Do you believe in Guardian Angels?”
