OnePlus is launching the Nord 4 on July 16, and along with it the company will also introduce the Pad 2, Watch 2R, and Nord Buds 3 Pro. Full specs of the Watch 2R have been leaked today by a tipster over on X.
According to him, the OnePlus Watch 2R is powered by the Snapdragon Wear W5 chipset paired with a BES2700 additional low-power chip. It has a 1.43-inch AMOLED touchscreen with 1,000-nit peak brightness, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, up to 100 hours of battery life and support for fast VOOC charging, dual frequency GPS, and more than 100 sport modes. It runs Wear OS.
It is IP68 certified for dust and water resistance and will be able to dive to 2.5 ATM, which is half the 5 ATM rating of the original Watch 2. That and the Watch 2R’s lighter build (we assume it’s got an aluminum chassis vs. the original’s stainless steel and that explains it) seem to be the only differences between these two.
The OnePlus Watch 2R will be offered in Forest Green and Gunmetal Grey. It’s expected to be slightly cheaper than the Watch 2, owing to its aluminum case.
