See Jessica Chastain and Peter Sarsgaard This Weekend in MEMORY

Got plans this Friday? Before the madness of the holiday arrives, why not see a flick that’s brimming with stellar performances by two of the best working actors today?

Enter: Memory, a film by Michel Franco. Hop on over to a very exclusive showing on December 22 at AMC Lincoln Square 13.

The film is already buzzing with awards and accolades, and for good reason. Richard Lawson from Vanity Fair hails the movie as “One of the best movies of the year.” Memory is also an IndieWire Critic’s Pick and also screened at the Toronto, AFI, London, San Sebastián, Savannah and Morelia film festivals.

As one of the most acclaimed movies of the year, Academy Award winner Jessica Chastain and Peter Sarsgaard, the Volpi Cup recipient at the 2023 Venice Film Festival, come together in acclaimed writer/director Michel Franco’s stirring narrative around human connection, instability and the past.

The characters find a profound connection under unlikely circumstances as they open the door to their past. The drama centers around two people learning how to start over with each other.

Sylvia (Jessica Chastain) is a social worker who leads a simple and structured life; her daughter, her job, her AA meetings.  This is blown open when Saul (Peter Sarsgaard) follows her home from their high school reunion. Their surprise encounter will profoundly impact both of them as they open the door to the past.

See you at the movies.

MEMORY, playing at AMC Lincoln Square 13 on December 22, 2023. Show times at 10:15am, 1:15pm, 4:15pm, 7:15pm and 10:15pm
