Russia’s mobilisation drive is reportedly targeting an ethnic group in the occupied Crimea. Crimean Tatars form about 13% of the peninsula’s population, and have largely opposed Russia’s 2014 annexation. An unnamed Crimean activist told The Guardian that the group was being targeted disproportionately.
